Now, and less than two years since the critically lauded release of his first ever mau5trap album We Ar Lyve back in April 2010, Moguai returns to the fray, and on the form of his life, for the agonizingly-awaited worldwide release of his latest long-player project – Mpire.

Available to buy from 30th January 2012, the album itself is an exquisite piece of craftsmanship; artistically inventive, masterfully honed, perfectly coordinated and not an ounce short of what we’ve come to expect from this outstanding producer, working so consistently at the top of his game. Moguai has always had a knack for creating intelligent, original and multilayered soundscapes and Mpire is certainly no exception. Captivating, melodic and with driving swells throughout, it epitomizes what the majestic German does best. The idea is to compile a selection of classic Rising Music tracks from artists such as Tom Neville, Nightriders, Sour Grapes, Michael Woods and even label boss himself Chris Lake, along with the labels rising stars, Nelski and Marco Lys whilst also giving the opportunity to welcome new artists to debut the label.

Rising music welcomes three exclusive tracks from DJ Dan and Phil Fuldner. All of which are full of fresh groovy beats and first class quality production.

The last Stereo Cool relase for this year is an awesome production between two heavyweights of the german electronic music scene: Internationally renowned DJs & producers, Phil Fuldner and Ian Pooley.

In the left corner Mr. Phil Fuldner. Whether he’s producing or playing, he will always take you on a fantastic journey through virtually the entire spectrum of irrepressible electronic music. Anyone joining him on this adventure will be rewarded with the finest efforts of the ‘Fuldner creative laboratory’, a near exhaustive glimpse into music of the past, present and future.

In the right corner Mr.Ian Pooley. What shines through is his ability to keep his cool. “I’m not interested in braggin’ about producing four tracks in two days” he explains. „Of course it’s technically possible but not satisfying for me.“ As passionate producer and musician, he prefers to take his time for skilful arrangements. Much time, in truth. „I love to create complex sounds and songs“ he elaborates. “And I’ve found out that a great track takes its time.”

On the remix side we have David Herrero, an awesome and excellent DJ & producer. He has been taken to the top of the electronic music worldwide and placed in the epicenter, his productions are always topnotch and played by the whole music elite.

Despite the sheer quantity of music that he’s making right now, it remains overtly clear that Moguai does not sacrifice on quality. Oxygen is testament to this. With the breathtaking vocal expertise of Fiora at hand, the style is back to the ‘Mau5trap Moguai’ of old, but with all of the benefits you’d expect from a producer with that many more months studio experience under his belt. Melodic, haunting, deep and spine tingling, the Moguai/Fiora combination is pure bliss for the ears. A more harmoniously delightful and progressive cut than Moguai has created in a while, Oxygen is electronic music the way it should be made. It’s electronic music of the very first order. Set for release on Mau5trap records on 7th November 2011, this might just be the record that skyrockets Moguai to international stardom. It’s that good.

On remix duty this time round we have the pleasure of born and bred Londoner and dubstep extraordinaire, Jacob Plant. Living up to all expectations and more, Plant retains the sensational Fiora vocals, and delivers a loud, gritty, hypersonic interpretation that will knock you for six. It’s got energy, it’s got bass, and it’s got a little touch of humour. Complete with a pounding club mix from Moguai to see things off in style, this remix package is the icing on the proverbial cake for what is yet another stunning release from Moguai and Mau5trap.

And as if that wasn’t enough to take in at once…we can now announce that the two ‘M’s’ will be continuing their special relationship into the new year, as they prepare to deliver Moguai’s stunning artist album ‘Mpire’! With a release date set for January 2012 on the mighty Mau5trap imprint, the hype around this is set to reach fever pitch. We can’t wait!

Not one to rest on his laurels, the German dynamo has decided to step up his game yet another notch, this time re-working one of Fatboy Slim’s all-time big beat classics, “Ya Mama”! Staying true to Norman Cook’s original iconic vocal samples throughout, Moguai puts his own vigorous spin on proceedings, transforming Slim’s masterpiece into a frenetic, five minute bass-infused monster, to all but guarantee the masses will be “shaking what their mama gave them” till the wee hours. The best news of all? It’s out NOW, exclusively at Beatport!

With such a rapid and consistently amazing output coming from the Moguai camp of late, we’re already excited about what’s next on the agenda! There’s undoubtedly more magic to come from the German in the weeks and months to come, but what exactly he decides to conjure up next to blow our minds remains uncertain. All we can do is stay tuned and watch this space, because we can be sure it’s going to be good!

The groovy disco bomb of ‚Hit The Floor‘ will make you do just that! Smooth, fluid loops grind in a hot cocktail d‘amour as Ante coerces us right into the middle of the action.
UK remixers Audiojack add their special heavy bass sound to the mix, presenting a slightly more stripped version that will no doubt work those dark, smoky club floors perfectly. Heavy bass growls along with filte- ring cuts of the original vocal.
The tongue-twisting Tag Team Terror remix lifts up the energy even more and brings the vocal right to the forefront of this uplifting mash-up. Part guaranteed, it‘s classic filter-funk 2011 style!

Ante completes the package with the slow burning and reduced bass pump of ‚Little Penguin‘. He asks the fellow to ‚stop‘, but the groove just keeps on running. Finally the riotous ‚Cyclope‘ is a straight up club killer. Raising the intensity, Perry calls on all his studio knowledge in this hi-tech floor rocker. Reach for the lasers!

The funky lick, catchy ad-lips and a grooving bassline make ‘Shake it’ the perfect companion for your nights, whether you prefer small clubs, or the big room!

‘Shake it’ is due to be released on September 5th, and comes with a stomping remix by Ant Brooks, proving why he is a well known guest on labels like Toolroom, Cr2 or Strictly Rhythm.

This epic news should come as no surprise though. Moguai has become THE go-to man for remixes this summer – Dutch house maestro Afrojack, EDM royalty Underworld, and the aforementioned Britney and Rye Rye have all received a healthy sprinkling of Moguai’s magic, and all in the space of 3 months! So when Beyoncé decided she needed a remix for her latest single “Best Thing I Never Had”, where was she to go? Well, straight to our man Moguai!

The record itself is another piece of technical genius. With spine-wrenching kicks setting the tone from the off, complex layers of bottom end and celestial vocal samples begin to emerge throughout the intro, only to be hijacked by a series of infectious siren stabs. The energy of the mix is rapidly subdued by a heavenly breakdown – with the dulcet tones of the lady herself stealing the show – but it’s not long before this moment of calm descends into utter tech-fuelled chaos as Moguai delivers yet another masterclass in remixology.

Released on September 4th on Jive, only one question remains – who could possibly be next on Moguai’s remix hit list? With an upcoming album on Mau5trap, a looming Asian tour and a very big collaboration – things are about to go through the roof.
