The first release is called “This Feeling”. Produced by Essen’s finest, Ribn, this tune is what house music should be all about. Langenberg readies „Times“ for the label’s second release, a cryptically twinkling gem of dark yet sensitive house music. Two mesmerizing remixes come courtesy of Manuel Tur who makes his first appearence since his critically acclaimed album debut on Freerange this summer and rounds off a package that’s been championed by the likes of Jimpster, Argy or Brendon Moeller. Making one of his very rare appearances outside his world-renowned label empire, no other but Poker Flat & Dessous super-boss Steve Bug delivers a true masterpiece of a remix for the thord Mild Pitch release, that elegantly dives into the obscurest emotive depths of the original track and transforms it into a timeless house treasure, raised from the abyss of Steve’s legendary studio. Mild Pitch kick starts into the new decade and serves you Manuel Tur’s solo debut on the young label. Opening the EP with the sizzling beatless prelude that is „The Priceless Message“, the title track „Agrafena“ carries on with heavy rough drums and countless layers of shifting vibes and strings that grow to a swirl of epic dimension. Mild Pitch installment number five brings us Dplay’s long awaited „Samoah EP“! Causing a massive stir with „Huub Sand“ on Gerd Janson’s beloved Running Back label last year, the Mild Pitch co-founder returns with a groovy homage to his pacific neighbourhood of Essen-Gerschede where he develops his unique style between palm trees, white beaches and the Autobahn 42. |
