German powerhouse Moguai has teamed up with Some Other Female Interest, otherwise known as SOFI, on the incredible hard-hitting track “Beat Of The Drum”, out now on Mau5trap Records. On March 25th, at an exclusive Mau5trap and Beatport beach party, the prolific pair demoed a live version of the track as it went on sale across the world.
“Beat Of The Drum” is an ideal pairing, combining Moguai’s hard hitting basslines and rhythm with SOFI’s jumped up, attitude-filled vocals. SOFI hit headlines late last year with the infectious track “SOFI Needs A Ladder” that saw her team up with head-rodent Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5. Meanwhile Moguai has been going from strength to strength with huge releases on Size, an enormous remix for Felix Da Housecat on Doorn Records and his most recently his exclusive “Lyve From Beta” compilation on Mau5trap.
